Worn white Nike cotton-polyester socks purchased through a Taiwanese foot-fetish marketplace on Twitter from a seller who identified himself as a male nurse; Tesla Model 3 synthetic leather seat components, driver-side front fender panel, and other mixed media. The Hysteresis installation adds a platform of stacked foam-covered wooden panels and a separate headrest sculpture.
A video monitor displays footage of the seller wearing and removing the socks in the driver’s seat of a Tesla Model 3, in a quiet parking garage at around 1 a.m.

Photographs the seller had posted of himself inside his Tesla prompted the request to film there, putting on and removing his everyday white Nike socks. His first recording included overt sexual gestures, so a second, quieter version was commissioned. Filmed after his shift and completed shortly after 1 a.m., it follows an ordinary act of dressing and undressing within the enclosed space of the parked car.
The sculpture brings Tesla Model 3 seat upholstery and a driver-side front fender together around the hardened socks. The car’s cushioned interior meets its metal shell, with the garments caught between them. Parts that ordinarily surround and support a passenger become a fragmented enclosure for the traces of one particular body.
For Hysteresis, the assembly rests on stacked foam-covered wooden panels with shifted edges, alongside a separate headrest sculpture. The exposed cushioning extends beneath the automotive fragments, enlarging the intimate space of the seat into a platform for the whole arrangement.

曾穿過的白色 Nike 棉與聚酯纖維襪，透過 Twitter 上的台灣戀足交易市場，向一位自述為男護理師的賣家購得；Tesla Model 3 合成皮革座椅部件、駕駛座側前葉子板及其他複合媒材。《遲滯》的展出版本另加入由多層包覆泡棉的木板堆疊而成的平台，以及一件獨立的頭枕雕塑。
螢幕播放賣家於凌晨一點左右，在寂靜的停車場內坐在 Tesla Model 3 駕駛座上穿脫襪子的影像。

賣家先前發布的車內照片，促成了在他的 Tesla 裡拍攝穿脫日常白色 Nike 襪的邀請。第一版影片帶有明顯的性暗示動作，因此另行付費請他重拍一個較為平實的版本。影片於他下班後拍攝，在凌晨一點過後完成，記錄停放車輛的封閉空間裡，一段尋常的穿著與脫卸。
雕塑以硬化的襪子為中心，結合 Tesla Model 3 的座椅包覆材與駕駛座側前葉子板。柔軟的車內襯墊與金屬外殼相遇，衣物夾處其間。原本環繞並支撐乘坐者的部件，轉而構成一個斷裂的圍合空間，容納某個特定身體留下的痕跡。
於《遲滯》中，整組構件置於多層包覆泡棉、邊緣彼此錯開的木板之上，旁邊另有一件獨立的頭枕雕塑。外露的襯墊向汽車殘片下方延伸，將座椅的私密空間擴展為承托整組裝置的平台。
